About Voce Chamber Choir

Voce Chamber Choir is a vibrant and dynamic London chamber choir founded by Suzi Digby and Harry Briggs in the summer of 2003. Twenty years on, we're known & loved for our polished performances of challenging repertoire from across the musical spectrum.

What we sing

Pretty much everything! Famous stuff; crowd-pleasers; Early music and Renaissance polyphony; delicious Romantic slushiness; and arrangements of bangers by contemporary songwriters like Pharrell Williams and Dolly Parton. We regularly commission and perform new works from the brightest rising stars on the choral music scene. Voce Chamber Choir actively chooses to programme music composed by women and people of colour.
Where we sing
Voce Chamber Choir has had a lot of cool gigs, but some of our favourites are probably:
- John Rutter's Christmas Spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall
- The Royal Yacht Squadron's Bicentennial on the Isle of Wight in a tiny chapel in front of HRH Prince Philip
- Lambeth Palace Chapel for a select group of MPs and The Archbishop of Canterbury
- Oh, and did we ever mention we sang with The Rolling Stones on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, in front of a global audience of 2.4 million human beings? Yeah, that happened. No biggie.

Further afield

Voce Chamber Choir's annual tour is a guaranteed highlight, combining beautiful destinations, cultural experiences, excellent singing and tourist boat trips. We always go on a tourist boat trip. In the past few years (notwithstanding a Covid hiatus), Voce has sung in Lisbon, Berlin, Stockholm, Vilnius and Medellin (yep, all the way out to Colombia! It was epic). We're off to Munich in 2023.
