About Voce

Voce is a vibrant chamber choir that was founded by Harry Briggs and Suzi Digby Eatwell in 2003. We pride ourselves on producing a top-quality sound across an unusually varied and challenging repertoire.

Made up of around thirty people in their 20s and 30s, Voce is extremely passionate about choral music, while not taking itself too seriously. We’re committed to being the best we can be – even if it means the rehearsals do overrun every now and then. There’s always time to unwind in the pub afterwards.

Voce’s strength is the combination of our unbridled enthusiasm and the diversity of the music that we perform. Over the past six years we’ve sung classic choral works in front of royalty, performed traditional African songs with the Drakensburg Boys Choir, jazz with the ACM Gospel Choir, carols with Hayley Westernra, Poulenc with Sir Willard White and, during our Christmas 2008 season, we had Rod Stewart waving his white scarf in time to our rendition of Jingle Bells! Voce members and singers wishing to join, please check the important rehearsal and performance dates for the next season.

We hope to see you soon!
