Winter - Who needs it? |
The sun’s out and the election’s over…
The sun’s
out, the streets look gorgeous, people have smiles on their faces- no
wonder governments always call elections this time of year…
So we promise
not to mention the
Iraq war, tuition fees or
decapitation strategies; just a bit of our news and a
thank
you for your vote of confidence in stocking our drinks! |
(And if this message is a bit too flowery for your taste, do just let me
know and I’ll remove you from the mailing list. Promise…)

Firefly’s
more popular than ever…
 Firefly’s
been making a bit of a name for itself; and shops are discovering how
popular it is…
Harrods
launched Firefly in their food-hall this week and sold 200 bottles on the
first day.
Selfridges
were so pleased with Firefly they created this stunning window display in
February (see right).
And our sales
are three times what they were last year.
So, many
thanks for helping get Firefly to the people that want it! |
|
London,
Paris, Sydney, Tokyo, and now Athens … |
|
We never dreamt Firefly would be taking off internationally so soon…
Greece
is our latest success story.
ß
It’s appeared in dozens of magazines.
And the Greek
celebs have been sipping it in style…
à
Meanwhile,
other new markets since January include
Denmark, Spain, Dubai, New Zealand… |
|
So many awards… |
|
We’re in the
Regional finals for the Shell Livewire Young Entrepreneur of the Year
later this month…
 |
And in the Grand National of the soft drinks world, we were finalists in
three big categories…
 |
|
We’ve been busy telling people about Firefly… |
|
We’ve given
drinks for smart parties and charity do’s like the premiere of Cirque du
Soleil…
 |
Free
samplings galore at department stores, company canteens and smart shops
(as well as our eye-catching stand at the International Food Exhibition)
(If you’d
like a sampling, do get in touch…)
 |
And our award-winning website is getting 700 hits per day.

Firefly bets on a winner |
|
 |
Some drinks
companies sponsor football leagues…
We couldn’t
afford that, but we did sponsor a jockey at
Cheltenham. Yes, Marcus’ brother Sam, with Firefly emblazoned across his
britches, galloped in first on Liberthine and thanked his sponsors,
Firefly, on live TV… What’s more, all of us in the office had a fiver on
at 7:2! |
|
We’re working on new drinks…
Everyone’s
been asking us, when’s the next Firefly drink coming out…?
Well, we’re
working on it and hope to have a new drink out later this year. You’ll be
(almost) the first to know! |
 |
|
The press keep writing about us… |
|
You magazine
(in the Mail on Sunday) called
our drinks “almost too chic to open”
 |
And this
piece in Zest called us “the
perfect antidote to all those late nights”…

|
Photos to our
website…
We’ve been
getting masses of photos for the front of our bottles.
Thanks to
Noel Eddison, Malcolm Menzies and David Olivari for these ones… |
