IQ-boosting news
Hi Harry,
Hope all's well with you.
A brainy drink, a burglary and a mountain... We felt that was enough
to warrant a quick update.
Oh, and as an added incentive, we've hidden some free Firefly
somewhere.
(Not very well hidden, really. Especially if you're quite clever
already).
Can't do the Countdown Conundrum?
If you fancy giving Carol Vorderman a run for her money, we've got the
brew for you. Our new drink 'Sharpen Up' has grapefruits and
passionfruits plus lots of magic ingredients.
Inspired by "Foggy Mind Syndrome", we've used herbs like Ginkgo (for
the memory) and Cardamom (for focusing the mind) to give you a push in
the right direction.
It's been a year in the making so we'd love to hear your verdict.

Daytime TV
BBC2 rang up the other day and asked us to an interview.
The programme "working lunch", is for people who watch daytime TV but
like to think they're really working.
Not quite as big as "Tricia", we hear, but apparently you need a
scandal to get on that one.
(We're working on it)
Annoyingly (mercifully...) they've just taken our Friday 5th May
edition off the BBC2 website, but click below to, er, see other
lunchtime diversions. (They plugged us: it's the least we can do!)
Tidy burglars
We had our first burglary.
Not very dramatic though: they were so tidy we didn't notice anything
amiss for 2 hours.
And they were rather frugal. They only stole two old laptops.
But the police took it all very seriously: dusting for
fingerprints...taking witness statements from all the neighbours...
They were here for hours.
We salute their diligence and sense of duty.
(Or did they just quite fancy the girls in the office?)
Marcus gets high
Marcus & friends** climbed Mont Blanc.
All 4807m of it.
Western Europe down, here's a few ideas for the next one...
Oceania............. Puncak Jaya, New Guinea (4884m)
Antarctica.......... Vinson Massif, (4892m)
Europe (hmmm).. Mount Elbrus, Russia (5642m)
Africa................ Kilimanjaro (5885m)
Americas........... Aconcagua (6962m)
Asia.................. Er, Everest (8848m)
They raised lots of money for TORCH (Tom's Oxford Radcliffe Children's
Hospital.
If you'd like to support it, please click below. (And big thank you to
those who already have)
**Sam Waley-Cohen, Jacob Grierson, Rory Dorman and Arabella Dorman.
Don't want you feeling left out.
Summer signings
The Firefly head count has swelled to an almighty 6.
Imogen and Luiz make up our new sales department.
Imogen likes Take That and never stops smiling.
Luiz has a black belt in kick boxing, and a canary called Vic.
(He's on the right)
We're hiring
If you know anyone good at running things - dealing with suppliers,
sourcing ingredients, planning bottlings etc. - please put them
in touch.
A case of champagne and masses of Firefly for any
successful intros.
A drink on us...
(Darn, you found it)
We've sold 2 million bottles.
Hooray.
That's enough to reach the "Thermosphere" if you stacked them all up.
(see left)
(It gets very hot up there, so best not to try.)
Anyway, to celebrate this joyous news, we've got 40 cases of
Sharpen up to give to offices around London.
If you'd like one, please click below.
And if you don't work in London, sorry - but we'd still love it if
you'd do our little "Foggy Mind Syndrome" survey...
Well, thanks for reading our news. Hope you like the new swanky email
format (hope it worked!)...
Any thoughts, questions, whatever, do get in touch.
All the best,
Harry, Marcus, Jess, Kate, Luiz & Imogen.
