Join Voce
Voce is pretty full at the moment, but we are always on the look-out for exceptional musicians who know how to enjoy themselves!
We generally hold auditions for the sections that need it at the start of each term (so about three times a year). Auditionees will have to sing a piece they’ve prepared (either unaccompanied or with piano) and do some sight-reading. You don’t have to be note-perfect with the sight-reading but you must be able to have a pretty good go.
Before you audition, you should also take a look at our rehearsal schedule for the term ahead and made sure that you can attend all the practices. We are a fun choir, but we’re pretty strict on attendance!
Rehearsals & Concerts
All evening rehearsals take place in the Grosvenor Chapel unless you hear otherwise, and run from 7pm until about 9pm. We usually go for a drink afterwards. We use the side door to enter the chapel - as you look at the front of the chapel, go round to the right into the small side street. The side door is at the far end of the chapel on the left. If it's not open, please ring the bell.
