The choir’s pretty full at the moment, particularly the female voices, but we’re always on the look-out for great singers.
We hold a few auditions at the start of each season (January, May and September). If you’re auditioning, you should just bring a short piece (2 minutes ish) that shows off your voice (we can accompany on the piano if you like), followed by a quick sight-reading test. You don’t have to be note-perfect with the sight-reading, but we learn music quickly in the choir so non-readers would struggle.
Before you audition, please also take a look at our rehearsal schedule for the term ahead and check you can make all the dates. We’re not pernickety, but we try and have full attendance for each season except in extremis...

Rehearsals & Concerts
All evening rehearsals take place in the Grosvenor Chapel unless you hear otherwise, and run from 7pm until about 9pm. We usually go for a drink afterwards. We use the side door to enter the chapel - as you look at the front of the chapel, go round to the right into the small side street. The side door is at the far end of the chapel on the left. If it’s not open, please ring the bell.
