Voce's inaugural concert fills St. Mary the Boltons (well, almost!)

3rd July 2003

Voce Chamber Choir, London's fine new chamber choir conducted by Suzi Digby, kicked off in style last Saturday with a wonderful range of choral works.

Suzi was delighted with the performance; "I can hardly believe we've come so far in only six weeks.  I'm thrilled with the choir, and Voce's laid the foundations for a fantastic future."

It was a fine Summer's evening, and an audience of well over a hundred came to St. Mary the Boltons in leafy Chelsea.  After the concert, most stayed for a glass of vino in the immaculate gardens, whilst the choir sang some madrigals and toasted their first public outing.

Voce are off for the Summer months, but their next concert is planned for the 25th October, and after the success of this concert, they plan to return to St. Mary the Boltons then.
